Direct mail & sales letter copywriter UK

Direct mail and sales letters that get read and bought from

If you could invest in a marketing tool that could practically guarantee your sales message will be read by your prospects – one with the massive, bank balance changing potential to bring in new customer after new customer – would you invest?

You’d be silly not to. So let me ask you…

When was the last time you received a letter from a local business that convinced you to buy something?

It’s rare to receive direct mail, but when you do, it’s usually total crap.

Generic, blanket mailings (I only ever get bumf from printing companies boasting about their newlitho machines) that look and feel all the same.

Which sucks for them, but it’s an excellent opportunity for you to step into the breach with direct mail copy that doesn’t suck harder than an aeroplane toilet.

Direct mail (almost always) gets read

Let’s compare direct mail to email marketing.

> How many unread emails do you have in your inbox?

> And how many do you delete without even opening?

Probably hundreds.

> But, how many unopened pieces of mail are laying on your front door mat, or businesses intray right now?

> Not many, if any at all.

And I bet, unless it’s very obviously spam mail, at some point, that envelope will get opened, looked at and read.

This is why direct mail works now more than ever. Not only does having something in your hands make your offering seem more legit than an email blast, you’ve got several seconds of the reader’s undivided attention.

A good sales letter has the opportunity to sell here.

And I can help you write one.

How can you use direct mail?

So in practice, how can you use direct mail to drive sales?

Using direct mail to drive sales

  • Qualified leads will always be discovered with direct mail. After reading your letter, these leads now know about your product and should respond positively. Here, it’s like shooting for fish in a barrel – these leads already know about you and have asked for more info.
  • Direct mail orders, an instant cash boost. As simple as that, walking your prospects from cold contact through to a sale, no follow up needed.
  • Telephone sales support. Used alongside any cold calling or telephone sales campaigns, you’ll make the sale process much easier and less gutty by giving your team a reason to call – to see if the prospect has received your letter. Or, as a follow up after a cold call – either thanking them for their time (and throwing in an offer) or following up from what was said in the call.
  • To drive footfall, as simple as that, and ideal for local businesses. A direct mail piece encouraging prospects to show their face will increase footfall and general awareness of your business.

Direct mail helped me generate £1.246 million in sales

Cha-ching – sales letter results

There’s so much spam in the financial industry. To gain any traction with a new, genuine offering, you need a way to stand out.

I spent a lot of time and effort pushing direct mail in my crypto business.

Alongside cold sales letters introducing my brokerage to HNW addresses, I worked late into the night, and early in the morning handwriting thank you notes to every, single investor.

Thousands of letters were sent, either as cold outreach or thank you notes asking for referrals – but it paid off. This marketing took the business to GBP 1.246 million in sales, before I sold the IP just six months later.

Want similar results?

I can’t promise results, but whether you need to increase footfall, book more appointments or sell more product – it can be done with direct mail.

Here’s how I’ve helped others:

  • Sales copywriting – writing the sales letter
  • Design and layout advice
  • Campaign management
  • Printing management
  • Landing page design and copy

And now, if you think I could help you – let me know.

🚨 Limited New Clients – Sorry! 🚨

Quick note: Sales letters take a heap of time to get right. Sometimes inspiration will hit, and you can crank out a stellar piece of copy in a day, and sometimes – it takes a while.

Because of this, I only work with a handful of new direct mail customers each month. To avoid waiting, if you fancied having a chat about your campaign – click the red button above, and we can arrange a time.
